For some reasons my former buildlog was vanished ;).

I'll give it a try to replace the log mainly with photos.

Information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junk_(ship)

Attention: the ship has been build already, see photos in de gallery.

Box:

Start with keel and frames:

I had a lot op problems with the twisted keel, but it turned out fine at the end.

Some extra wood was needed as support.

good to see that you have reposted your log here Wim.

I have seen this model in real and know how small this is, it is a perfect build.

Very nice I love the weathering on the hull. I have ordered this kit and will be my next build. I love the Ships of Southeast Asia. Thanks for all the great pictures.

Perfect job. Congratulations. I loved the lifeboat!  I just started with this ship (after 4 Mississippi ships; heckwheelers and sternwheelers).

Twisting the wood for the keel is not that difficult if you're not in a hurry. Put a plank in hot water for an hour, fix it in place with tape or so, let it dry for an hour and glueing is easy then.
