USS Olympia C-6

The Olympia in 1/4" scale was converted from a full hull model originally built in 1985. Having fallen into disrepair, it was saved from the "wreakers" and reimagined as a waterline model. Inspiration for the water was gleaned from Ron Neilson's fine renderings and tech talk on this forum. Materials employed are wood hull and structures, my own resin castings and photoetching, and 3D printed figures.

At 1:48 scale it must be almost beyond private home-size ...
