My intentions were to build a glass case for the model, but the price soon started to sky-rocket, so I went down for a different approach to displaying the model. Hence, the whole "shored-up" theme.... All I have to do know is find some glass for the front and maybe glue a black and white chart to the back of the board? I'll see what I can do, like most of the guys on here, I'm ship building on strict budget! Easy to cut to size and lighter than glass. Can get it from places such as b&q (no affiliation ), etc. I used it for my display case. my two pennies worth!
