  3. 1952 - The worlds first commercial Jet Airliner a De Havilland Comet with 36 passengers paying up to £315 for a return ticket took off from London for Johannesburg.

  20. Other way round Andy. Kilkis used to be USS Mississippi and Limnos was the USS Idaho. But it is the Kilkis Sunk in the foreground. David
