  1. For a ship of 1/72 scale, what would be the correct diameter for the running and standing rigging. The supplied line is out of scale.
  2. Merhaba kutakara, nasilsiniz. bluenose2 here. I was in Turkery 3 years ago and hiked down from Taksim square to the hobby shop and purchased this boat. It is next on my build list. Good to see your photos, I will follow your build. The instructions are in Turkish, but I will have them translated. Iyi aksamlar good luck.
  3. hello dragzz. bluenose2 here. I am on the final leg of my build of this schooner. A good web site for reference photos is hazegray.org. It shows the correct colouring for the boat as the Billings is incorrect for this build. You will encounter some scratch building such as for the aft pulley covers for the rudder control chain work. Also Blue Jacket ship crafters supplied me with far more accurate davits, search light and turnbuckles. They also provide accessories for the wheel house if interested. I have some pictures of my build log under bluenose2 if your interested. Good luck!
  4. Thanx for the comment. I purchased that mat @ Micheals craft store. I have a better one I purchased @ an art supply store. bluenose2
  5. Hello Les calling. With old decals such as yours it's a lost cause. I have had this happen to me as well as old decals shattering when soaked. Now I scan all decal sheets into the computer and save them. I can print them out using clear or white decal paper I get from my hobby shop or online. Spray with a fixative and apply. Hope this helps.
