Dear Wefalck and druxey. In the majority of cases it is risky, but in this particular case I was sure that it could be done. My best regards.

Dear Dave . Thank you very much for Your concern. But i have several ideas regarding this point, I think I won't use white stripes.

Thank you very much Valeriy. I solder with an ordinary solder, i bouught it in radio-store. I wanted to use only steel, for more authenticity, and as you have probably noticed already all big element were made from nails of different caliber and iron plates. But i think i won't be able to do without latten in the future. I would like to express my admiration of Your soldering skills, I'm a freshman compared to You. Respectfully yours.

My greetings, dear Carl, Unfortunately not speaking the language can lead sometimes to certain inaccuracy, I'm very grateful for your corrections. In naming the elements I turn to this draft.

Dear Jan. That's true, i don't like painting. In the model i'm planning on using only wwood. The only element i'll apply paint to is the top of the mast. Regarding the white stripes - i'll figure something out. My best regards.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
