cog got a reaction from RGL in SMS Seydlitz by Canute, Cog, Stein Gildberg & RGL - FINISHED - Hobbyboss - 1/350 - PLASTIC
Especially for Sam (so he finally starts working on his own build) ... movement registered at the yard ...
Couldn't get the halves nice and flush, so I'll be filling and sanding a bit

Nice finish JesseLee. Looks rather smooth ... like you've been holystoning it on your knees ...

You'll manage to have your build up and running in no time.

Beautiful!
It does have its merrits this method of building. Even finishing, sanding etc must be easier, you do not have to care about the pressure you give when sanding. It has quite a few advantages

cog reacted to RGL in Hansa Brandenburg CC Flying boat by RGL - FINISHED - Choroszy Modelbud - 1/72 Resin
I’ve made a start, the level of detail of the cockpit is ok but my plan is to sink her in the waves nose first so it’s not that important!

I stopped a long time ago ... I now thoroughly enjoy the view. It's a pitty I can't give a weighted "like", something like platinum

I hope not (STD in Dutch ...)
You seem to me fault less Amalio ... and make it look so easy too!

Now we know the man behind the ship. A lovely ship it is too

But wouldn't you run the risk of making markings on the wood with the exacto blade, which you cannot see with Amalio's method ...

One will never ever have enough clamps, druxey.
Look at it, Amalio can't even finish an entire length ...
Another fine day at the shipyard Amalio

You mean the build is an extension of one's self. Interesting, but then
it wouldn't necessarilly be a bad conscience, but the ship may not fit the builder
As some of the others have written, but in other words: I would like to see the "bad" or "ugly" pieces. Love the way you build develops

It sounds like the Scrum method in software development ... as Mark said, a beautful philosophy, and a perfect way to work on the different parts of the build. Remco has a signature much a like: "Treat each part as if it is a model on its own, you will finish more models in a day than others do in a lifetime."
