    Good afternoon. Hope you are recovered. So to the point. Is the attack on La Haye Sainte still in your schedule or have you had to walk the plank? It was a bit ironic finding your posts on this maritime site as my brother builds the ships and I do Napoleonic. I caught up yesterday with your posts and it was a bit of a treasure trove so keep it up. Last year I sold my 25mm French Army and moved to 28mm due to level of detail and eye strain. I have just finished dabbling and completed a measly 100 French infantry, 1 cannon and crew, an artillery train and mini ambulance diorama, but I’m now thinking your idea is the way to go for such variety. Great work. Mike

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
