Thanks Friends for your nice comments. They give me a positive kick to do the next steps
Vivian, I'll try to post some more new photos soon, however, there is an obstacle - football matches on TV... What about the atmosphere in Brazil?
MarisStella - I know this technique but for one sail it turns out to be pretty costly
Mhegazi - thamks for your comments. I like when someone likes what I do
Popeye - It's nice to read kind words (as always). The sails took me sooooo many hours... But they are far better than the attached ones
Regards,
Paweł

I like your progress. Keep it up. Can't wait to see more pics

These sails look amazing. I realy like the embroidery. Was it by hand or machine?
-
Hi MarisStella,
The sails that were attached to the kit were awful. I have replaced them with my material ( a sort of canvas). The vertical stripes have been done by me. If you don't mind - rewind some pages and there are pictures of sewing them.

Hi,
There's a manufacturer in Poland. He has released 3 or 4 models so far. One day I do fancy building his kit. I think that the models are neatly done and are accurately prepared (based on historical drawings, sketches and other facts).
Take a look http://www.bojer.pl/modele_statkow_zestawy.

Hi Dominic,
Nice progress has been made so far. Neat and clean ship. Try to read the book made by Friends from this site : Hull planking for beginners http://modelshipworldforum.com/resources/Framing_and_Planking/plankingprojectbeginners.pdf. I hope it'll be helpful. The way you plank your ship is nice but the layout of the planks differs in reality. Check it out
Nobody's perfect therefore next time try to look round.
There's another option, you may use a very thin 3rd layer of planks if you wish
I'm not crititising - just trying to give you some help
Dominic, try to ask others - more experienced users of this site.
Can't wait to see more pics of your building log.
Regards,
Paweł

Good way to blacken the cannons
The result is really nice.
-
Good idea. Place some pics of your build scratch then. Good luck with your game as well
-
Wonderful carriages. Are you planning to paint the cannons black?
-
What's the diameter of your treenails? The deck looks good.
-
Nice bulding. You are really fast.

Bug, thanks for your comments

I'd like to see more pics of your wonderful progress

Sometimes I have to cheat
because the scale is not appropriate to do all the detalis like in reality.
If it helps anyone to do these parts, go ahead. I also took it from someone else's building log ( I forgot the name) and modified it a bit...
