Hi Anja,
You meant this picture:
I have made this with a standard graphic editor Gimp. I am sure there is an equal program available for Apple
Just check out with your graphic software how to draw lines.

Hi Mates:
After almost two weeks of having all my family reunited for the Holidays and not having enough time to work on my ship I finally finished to place the sails on the bowsprit. As with the other sails I have not fixed them permanently until I double check the correct tensions and locations of the rigging yarns. Here some pictures:
Saludos and best wishes for this new year, Karl

Michael and Mark,
Thanks for your kind comments. It is appreciated!
I finished the work on the upper railing for the platforms.
These platforms have taken me way longer than I had anticipated.
Hopefully they look a little bit more like the real thing than those metal pieces that came with the Corel kit!
This is a photo of a completed post for the upper half railing
Six posts glued onto the larger platforms
Four posts glued onto the smaller platforms
Photos of the upper railing glued and nailed into place on the large platforms!
Photos of the upper railing on the smaller platforms
So, I have only 1 step left before I mount these platforms onto the masts. I have to position and attach the deadeyes on the platforms. I think it will be easier to drill out the holes and position them before I attach the platforms to the mast.
Hopefully I will be starting the upper masts sections real soon.
Thanks,
Frank

Hi Mates,
Minor update, completed building the false carriages, and began installing them along with their cannons.
I needed to adjust the size of each dummy carriage in order to allow entry and proper positioning within the hull frame insert. As I’ve noted each gun port is somewhat different in size. Hence you see them on that pic pic. in their proper order for installation after adjusting their relative sizes.
I also learned (for future builds) that I will pre-drill the dummy cannon holes into the false inside framing BEFORE installing and gluing these on the inside of the hull.
Turns out that some of my post-hole drilling was not well centered for some of the dummy cannons, had to go back in and adjust many of the holes. AND one of my framing bits fell away (too much pressure with the drill) Grrrrrr.
I rattled the ship sideways and the piece sort-of re-appeared near its proper place. After much finagling, tweezers and gluing it managed to kind of be usable again.
But for that dummy cannon I had to use a lot of wood extensions to create proper spacing coming through the port. Hmmmm
Now onto the covers.
Thanks for your likes, comments or just looking in.
Cheers,
Michael

This evening I tried to locate all attributes on the Stockholm scale model (1:10). I am going to use this as a basis for the painting
I will print these pictures and use these as a guideline during painting
reference is made to the part numbers according the building instruction of Corel. I also marked the items in a sort box

Started on the galleries - after shaping the kit supplied lower pieces I decided to add some tapered shims to the lower pieces to position them out further so that it would hopefully give a little more clearance for the rear lower tower. After painting them & gluing them on I formed some pieces from basswood & balsa to tie everything together. In the last picture the hull is not crooked - the photo was taken at a slight angle. I would also like to wish everyone at MSW a happy new year

Hey all! I´ve got ill since posting last time, a small inflammation in the heart. I now eat medicine that will cure the inflammation and after that I should be fine again.
Anyway I made some small progress on the model last days. I have decided what setup I want and I will make her when she got her masts in place, perhaps during the early summer of 1628. I think the unfinished look is interesting and dynamic.
So I have made the second step of the main mast and the rigging for how to raise it after info from Fred Hocker. When it was in place I could glue the tops and then continue with the ropes that connect the shrouds to the tops.
I have also prepaired the railing. Fragile stuff so fingers crossed I will be able to add them later on.
