I want one too, said the child in me!! Gawd, some very beautiful tripplet models you have created. The rigging, yes, I can imagine you may find some difficulty with it, but you will succeed, knowing you. I really do love the "night view". The clear light around the cabin and the darkness all around ... stunning. Those two new owners should be very, very pleased with their respective model!!

Busy doing the rigging. A horrible task to find out how all the lines and blocks has to go and actually making them to do so. It looks like one big spagethis to me sometimes.

gotta say Kees...........you've outdone yourself! your fleet is looking too good for words! the paint work........the fittings.....the detail.......there's so much to see they're not done......I know, but a big congratz for what you've achieved!

I desided to keep the weathering minimal. There is allready some wearing and tearing but nog to mutch.
In the first picture you can see the kind of weathering I'm talking about. On the hatches and the bullwarks. The same (light) weathering is all over the ship

Lots of work done on the Pelikaan. Frontmast, deckhatches, blocks and pulleys painted. Wooden deck, and a lot of other smaller jobs done.

Hello Patrick. Every part is marked with a letter. The parts with the letter K (ees) get 'some' more attention and where the others get resing casted parts, I only use original parts. My model will be weathered like heavely used fishingship while the others get minimal weathering.
So yes.... I Have a favourite
