Yes sir, I'm going of the kit's plans and their location. It is odd, as my NS Mercedes build, they're set back a bit and not on the stern post, etc...

I have started my next build, named Duyfken. The kit is a pretty good one from Modellers Shipyard, have not seen any issues with parts so far. Here are some of my progress pics..

Hello, I'm in search of any model kits (wooden preferred, but can go plastic) listed below. If anyone has come across anything close that I can purchase, please let me know. Regards, Robert

The whole process was slightly over 2000 hrs. The display case is 44" W x 18" D x 35" H. I've used clear Plexiglass panels instead of glass, that would have been too heavy. A couple more finishing touches yet to do, like strip lighting and a plaque or 2 describing her. Thanks for the comment!!

Sonny, another quick question…from the Photo instruction #95, part #139, did you have to make your own or was this a specific supplied part? My kit doesn’t seem to have this part, as in the photo, the middle of this part has a hole in it. Written instructions do not indicate to use a brass wire to make up this part. Also my kit came with wooden belaying pins whereas the instructions mention it to be metal pins. Other observations, you have applied copper strips to the hull, my kit did not come with copper.

Hello folks, after many moons away from my log…I’ve actually completed my HMS Victory…I’ve also built my display case, but still have a few things to complete…but all in all, I’m basically done.

Hello there, it's been quite a while since I've posted. Made a little progress (took some time away from the build...back at it now). I've completed the rat lines / shrouds on all 3 masts and now starting to work on other rigging details. Couple of pics to show progress.

Current update, had started on my rigging, talk about testing some patience. I had run out of 1.2mm rope from my Corel kit, however the good folks in Milan supplied me what I needed....free of charge! Kudos to Corel !

I might have used a 1/4" bit, then a pretty sharp carving knife to finish off the corners.

Yes it's very well worth the patience, thanks Mark....also it's not too bad this morning, only -3 C should be expecting snow today, fun stuff, especially getting out there on the driveway with the quad and the plow, can't get any better than that!!

After a few more hours and some patience, the main mast with its' yard, topsail yard, and topgallant yard....again the main mast just seated in its' position, not fully secured yet.

I simply applied a coat of clear varathane, it does make it look a little darker eh?

Attached the 'Spritsail yard' on the bowsprit...not too bad of a task. And the Spritsail Topsail Yard....
