I am building her, and plan to leave the hull natural, using walnut veneer planking. Should I copper plate below the waterline or leave it natural? In your opinion, what would look the best? Quote

According to the article, the ship is an exact replica except for the auxiliary propulsion/generator equipment and safety equipment. wq3296 Quote

Gaetan Bordeleau Posted May 2, 2015 #6 Posted May 2, 2015 The construction of the Frigate Hermione began in 1778. The 74 gunship is in 1780 and has copper plating. Copper plating began in France in 1778. At his neuvage (when new) it was not copper plated. It was copper plated only few months after.
