Looking for replacement parts...

I am repairing a model of a Frigata Espanola, I'm not sure what year it was originally built but it has these pointed plastic tips on the yard ends and a couple are missing, does anyone have an idea of what these items are called and a good site to find them?

Can you post a picture or two?   That might help, along with manufacturer (if it's a kit)?

With that little information, you are going to have a really hard time trying to find the exact original pieces, I'm afraid.

My suggestion would be to try to make them yourself out of putty or even wood.

 

Edit: a more drastic solution would be to get rid of all of them altogether.

Interesting Yard arm ends.... Personally I would do away with them altogether but if you want to keep them have a go at shaping some with wood as Ulises Victoria suggested.

Thank you, with all the time I spent searching for them, I figured I'd end up making them, I'm repairing the boat for someone else and it was built by a family member so as much as I would like to be rid of them I'm afraid that's not an option.

Hmm... from what I'm seeing on Google, these were mass-produced models.  Google "Frigata Espanola model" (without the quotes).  It might be cheaper and faster to find one for sale (they seem to be reasonably priced) and salvage the parts you need.

Try using a small Dremel electric hand piece and 'turn' them using a piece of small dowel and then stain/paint black.  Should be able to create a couple fairly fast...
