First Post on the forums.

Glad to be a member with such a fine group of people. I have been reading the various sections and i am very impressed.

I have been a modeler for over 40 years. Mainly Plastic, and Resin kits (Armour, Dioramas, Figures, etc). I fly and build balsa RC aircraft.

I have accumulated quite the stash of model kits over the years, which i have finally started to build. ( i know i have a lot ...)

I am currently building an older version of the Swift (non laser cut ), as first learning model using Mr. Hunts Practicum as a guide.

Look forward to meet you folks on the forum.

Hi there FAA.

Welcome to the forum. I also live in Connecticut. Born here some 78 years ago. You might want to let us know

your name and where bouts you live.

I am currently a member of the Connecticut Marine Model Society. We just celebrated our 50th anniversary. CMMS

gets together once a month in the new annex of the University of New Haven in Orange, CT. Several of our members

have built many of the models mentioned in your intro. If you live in this area you might want to attend our next

meeting on October 13. Perhaps you'll see one of your models in our show-and-tell. Might be a real eye opener.

If interested I'll get back to you with more details.

Welcome to the site. I, too, have beaucoup kits just about everywhere in the house. Don't know too many modelers who don't have at least a few. I started building cars in the late 1950's when cars were cars! From there to Revell Constitution (twice). And so on. Now I look for the upcoming 75th anniversary of WW II kits coming out - I hope.
