Bending African Walnut

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate your comments and suggestions.  In the end the walnut worked well.  I only posted so others would have an effective technique to bend that species of wood.  I actually think it is a really nice wood, just a little more difficult to bend.  No need to use something else.

Hi Gregory,  I agree with you that if anyone wrote the "only option" this would be incorrect.   Thus the use of the word alternative.   

Alternative -  (of one or more things) available as another possibility.   😀

Allan,  my point was, when someone asks for help bending walnut, suggesting they use a different wood is not really any help with the problem if they would prefer to use walnut.
