Hi Folks,

Started this build (my first) in 2004 and unfortunately life got in the way until recently. I finally have some time to dedicate to this new addiction (working on the project with my 8 yr old son) but unfortunately I have discovered that there is an entire laser cut block that is missing leaving me with several missing pieces. I don't mind constructing the missing pieces from scratch (don't really have an alternative) but I have no idea of the dimensions, curvatures, etc. of these pieces. If anyone can assist in the form of pictures, drawings, dimensions or otherwise you assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am currently missing the following:

#37 Hawse hole reinforcements

#44 Stern transom exterior standard knees

#78 Bees of bowspirit

#97 Foremost shoulders

#103 Mainmast shoulders

#110 Fore trysail gaff cheeks

#116 Boom Cheeks

#118 Mainmast shoulders

Thanks in advance..........Brian

Have you browsed the build logs for other al harvey kits.  I am sure we have a whole bunch with pictures.  Check out the index of build logs in the kit build logs forum.

I do have that laser cut sheet, in fact I have 2 - attached is a pic, let me know which you would like - there is a lighter walnut sheet and a darker one, the darker one looks a bit more splintery, (you can see what I mean on the left of the darker one) so if you don’t care I would get the lighter one.... I would give you both but you never know who else might need one..... if you hear of anyone let me know - I have two 1/2 more of these left.

That’s great Brian, this is also a great justification for keeping all the plans and unused materials from all of my builds. I can’t tell you how many times the wife wanted to “throw all that junk out” 😎Also I would like to encourage you to consider starting a build log, that’s another awesome opportunity to share your progress and and receive encouragement and guidance on the multitude of processes involved in our craft. Plus we get to see pictures!!😀👍
