Bentley 4.5 litre supercharged by kpnuts - airfix - 1/12 - PLASTIC

Hi all I did this ages ago and sold it to my ex boss, he no longer wants it so I have it back (complete with dust and cobwebs) so I'm going to strip it and do something different with it

I corrected loads of faults on this kit and added loads of extra detail (I also respoked the wheels)

VERY nicely done.  I remember that kit as a kid. Super nice when built, but if I recall, it was super fiddly as well.

Very. The original was also motorised (moulding for that and the gears are still in the new one) (when I built the motorised one in my youth it only worked for about 10 feet then stripped the gears)

I think that's why it's not motorised now.

Accuracy is pretty poor as is the detail but then again it's the only 1/12 version out there.

Interesting model. I can see the re-spoken wheels and it does make a difference.
