to all members,

we need a good list for woods used in scratch building or kit bashing. there are so many on line but don't know who to trust!

tough to find wood I use are English boxwood and south American lemon wood. If anyone has any good contacts here in the US and abroad that are reliable

please lets make a list for members to contact,

Thanks,

Go to the top of this section and there's 3 pinned posts for where to acquire the woods.

There is a caveat to these lists.... the wood market has changed radically.  Many sites no longer handle certain woods.  If you find one overseas, getting it imported your country many not be possible.  For example, I can locate milled boxwood in Europe but can't import it to the States.   On the hand, I can buy billets of unmilled wood here.
