Still have to fill the scarf joint and a few other areas. However, I wanted to post this quick update. It's starting to look more and more like a boat. Shrimp Boat; Lindbergh; 1/60 scale (as commission for my brother - a tribute to a friend of his) North Carolina Shad Boat; half hull lift; scratch built. Scale: (I forgot). Done at a class at the NC Maritime Museum. Dinghy; Midwest Models; 1/12 scale (Does LEGO Ship in a Bottle count?)

Back in Jan. 2022, Chuck Bauer was the speaker for an NRG Online Workshop titled 'Stategic Detailing.' At the start Chuck pointed out reasons for adding details to a model as: "Improving the visual appeal of the model, adding historic accuracy and differentiating it from others." Your observation confirms I am hitting his bullet points. I appreciate your comment and observation. Thank you.
