I upgraded the Norwegian Pram kit's stand to a cherry wood stand and acrylic pillar.

I cut cherry wood sheets using a laser cutter, and glued them together. I slightly sanded the edges.

It is a cheap and nice result, but the sanding was a bit frustrating. I'll try 3D CNC next time. :D

I like it a lot. I've been trying to think about how to mount a small ship's boat next to a larger model so that their water lines are about even, as if they were floating next to each other. Acrylic pillars look like a good option.

Very nice looking display stand.  I like the proportions and seems a good fit for the model.
