What parts to prime on revell 1961 kit

The CSS Alabama has the hull already copper-ed.  There are chrome parts.  The blocks are tiny!  I am using Tamiya acrylic paint.  My gut says primer all but the chrome.  Then I read about taking the chrome off and painting the parts silver.  So, I ask, what would you prime?

I am wondering if the chrome parts are from another kit.  Don't think 1800 ships had them, lol.

True on that.   What parts are chromed?   This got my curiosity up.
