Tim1786 Posted July 29 Share #1 Posted July 29 This is my first wooden ship build. I'm an experienced plastic modeler and when I was 12, built the Revell Constitution. I was a woodworker for 25 years, creating chessboard and jewelry boxes, so I'm used to doing detailed work in wood. I'm very much enjoying this build after a 3 year hiatus from doing any creative work due ro health issues. I'm not entirely happy over it, but I think it's passable, and better than the plastic seats that came with the kit. I lined it with mahogany strips on the inside and painted the outside.
