Caldercraft Victory Replacement Parts

Building the Caldercraft Victory and I need a couple of replacement parts. I emailed the Jotika email address a couple months ago and never got a response so tonight I noticed the Aeromarine email address on the plans but my email to them bounced back and the Aeromarine website appears to be nonexistent. If anyone has information about where to go to get replacement parts in the US it would be much appreciated. I registered my kit and have the email from Jotika confirming that if it makes any difference

My advice is to keep pestering John at Jotika…

 

He will eventually get back to you but it often takes a while.

 I fully agree with Julian, keep trying to contact John at Jotika. I did this when losing a piece of the stern decoration. Once I had explained the problem the part was quickly despatched. He did sound like he was working flat out at the time!

A second suggestion that may help here - Cornwall Model Boats here in the UK do keep a stock of some of the fittings for many of the Caldercraft range (and other kit producers) including white metal castings and photo etched sheets. If a particular part is not in stock, or listed, I believe that they can often get them from the kits' manufacturer. Always had great service from CMB, and originally bought my Victory from them.

I had a broken decoration, no response from Jotika at all after 4 emails, very poor service. I got hold of the retailer I purchased the kit from and they got the part I wanted in a few days ready to send to me.

Very poor service indeed... 

 

I had some problems with Cornwall Model Boats as well with regards to unanswered emails on a special order of a part.

 

They are both hit and miss.
