What type/form are you looking for?

 

For milled wood there is HobbyMill.EU, one of the MSW sponsors.

If you want stock wood and will mill it yourself then Timberline has a great variety of species. They have served me well for years.

Thanks Gregory, I just wanted a source available in case I need any. I see the company is situated is Estonia,  presumably no problems of import etc just delivery time I guess.

Thanks Bruce, milling myself will be a problem. I was ideally looking for a company like HobbyMill but within the UK, sorry being idealistic I guess.

There is some limited milled wood available on Amazon.  Mostly basswood.

I don't know of a UK supplier any more. There used to be Modelling Timbers, but alas Keith has. now sadly passed.

 

I can vouch for Hobbymill.eu. Their quality and cutting is superb and they're very reliable.

Thank you everyone for suggestions and support!

 

Shipping to UK is no problem. Delivery time depends on queue and order size.

Nothing is prepared as sheets or strips, every order starts from big piece of timber as thats the only way to minimize the change in color.
