Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

Wire and toothpicks are your friends for making small masts and spars!

The stiff wire that comes in balsa model plane kits for landing gears is perfect for that.

Toothpicks and bamboo kitchen skewers can be shaved down to very thin diameters and are some of my go to sources for masts and spars.

wrong shape as looks like it should be a 4 point diamond as in baseball with home & second base the verticals & 1st & 3rd the horizontal bar as that is what it looks like in your previous picture. what are you going to use for the angled supports as thinner then the horizontal bar which is thinner then the main vertical post?

Working on a fix and should have the next version tonight. For the supports and part going above, I’ll use stretched Sprue, if that doesn’t work then maybe lead wire but I believe the sprue will be fine. For the loops at the end s, I’ll use lead wire. Great stuff that I use in wheel bays and cockpits of the planes

the model's crossbar seems to be wider then in relation to the 1 in the photo on the ship. is the height of the mast from base to crossbar the correct scale height because if it is then it can be used to calculate the correct width of the crossbar?
