Calling all Seattle and/or PNW Shipwrights!

Where are your favorite tool stores, suppliers, shops in the area?   Other regional things/places of interest?

Thanks ahead of time...

You've waited a long time for a reply, shipmate. Wish I had a recommendation. I think all "true" hobby shops have closed around here.

Hi Maturin. I lived  in Seattle for a number of years , and used to find specialty tools at a shop on Roosevelt Way N E. It's just north of the University Bridge.

      Hardwick and Sons, Inc.

      (206) 632 0678

Hope they are still their as it has been some time scince I I've been there

They had at that time a case of imported tools ie small planes, squares, chisels. etc, Neat store,

If you head north during the week, Bellingham has Hardware sales and Grizzly.

Hardware sales has most every tool you can imagine, both power and hand.  They also have all sorts of raw stock and fasteners.

Grizzly has some great deals on things like machinist squares\micrometers and other tool items.
