USS Constitution 1/96

Hi there, after several years, I have just finished this Constitution Revell kit. It has been a little bit bashed. Masts, sails, life boats....Finally I decided to put the ship on the sea, that is made of styrene and toilet paper, so quite cheapm solution. Of course the "Sea" can be removed anytime out of the case.

Wow, this is a really spectacular piece! Beautiful work, and the sails and the sea setting really bring it to life. Downright mesmerizing.

Mr Maros,

This is one of the top 5 and the most realistic renderings of the Revell Constitution I have "ever" seen!

Simply Put, Fantastic!!

You don't have a build thread posted some where do you?

Excellent. I like the diorama, the added detail (especially sails and sail rigging) to make the ship more resemble it's larger wooden cousins. Very impressive.

You appear to be a photographer (D300 and proper lighting), yes?

Thank you guys. I´m really glad, you like it. Complete build log you can see in this thread https://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=177&t=11091 but in Czech language. Pictures are still there. In my opinion, the old Revell kit is one of the most accurate plastic sailing ship, that has been ever done. But the quality of individual pieces is almost horrible. With patience and several improvements, it can be a nice piece of furniture.

Really outstanding - congratulations!  The sea is a really nice addition & the sails are just great!

Congrats friend. As someone said in the gallery, this is a fine example what we can achieve such a small scale plastic models. Simply adorable!

The sea is also a realistic one - i've seen thousands of worse even on MosonShow meet-up or on the net. This one... just WOW.

Wow! This is beautiful. I agree with @JEB; the work on the ship is great, but the sails and sea are particularly outstanding.
