Me too ! (with AI of course) -
If the camera has a Tungsten/Indoor setting, use it instead of Auto. But if your indoor lighting is 5600K (Kelvin) LEDs, then use the Daylight setting. If you're an old film guy like me and have a set of the old Kodak Gray Scale step cards and Color Cards use them to color balance or use an 18% reflective grey card with the white reverse side then use the White side to adjust white balance. Most indoor lighting is around 3200K From "An old 35mm film photographer" who still has all his old equipment and darkroom. Those last two overall photos look fine. Nice job blending foregroundvwith background.

As a general rule, whenever I get a Model Shipways kit I throw out the included rigging thread and purchase the equivalent size SYREN thread from Chuck. Works and looks a whole lot better. Great looking model, Sal. Nice job 👏

My problem is the tenants in the apartments on the street behind me and 3 houses to the east of me; they leave cans of cat food on their front stoop for the feral cats. So there's a whole colony of them in the woods across from the apartments. When my 3 Corgis were alive the cats would not come through our fence, even tho the Corgis just looked at them and sorta said "ho hum that must be a cat! ho hum" and never gave chase. We've tried for years to get the Town to do a "capture, neuter, release" but that seems to be above their intellectual capacity.

They lay in ambush under my dwarf Japanese Maple (Acer) right next to the bird bath waiting for a small song bird to stop for a drink/bath then leap up onto the bird bath. I've see 3 different feral cats 🐈 catch Sparrows, Finch, Nuthatches, et al. Repel All spray works sometimes but I finally had to purchase a couple rolls of Scat-Cat Mats from a garden supply and lay them out under the trees.

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
