Congratulations on finishing this very fine model of this mighty ship. It has been a joy and a privilege to follow your build log.

Nice!
I notice your lifebuoys are orange. Do you know if that colour was used this early? (I have no idea myself.)

Really nice work, Nils !
You might have solved a puzzle for me: Do you know if the warning sign of twin screws was mandatory?

I will follow this build as I love ships of this era. You will find some additional photos that you might find useful of the Fulani here: http://www.photoship.co.uk/JAlbum%20Ships/Old%20Ships%20F/index17.html
Also nice that other Norway based people are on ths forum!

These skylights turned out really nice indeed. I second your decision to keep the brass finish.

Your log updates are always interesting and impressive!
How do you bend the L-beams to the same radius as the deck curvature without the beams warping?

It is both fun and inspiring to follow your build log. You have given me lots of ideas I plan to try out in a future build.

Nils: Stumbled upon this link to a page containing a sailing plan plus a number of photos (bottom of page) of the Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse. Might perhaps be of interest for you.

Just want to tell you that I have been following your builds for the last year or so, and that I find them amazing. I'm memory storing lots of methods and techniques from your logs - hopefully employing them on a not so distant future build of mine. Always looking forward to your updates.
