  1. Then I made a new forestay, set it in place and glued.
  2. In the morning I started to repair the breaches. At first, I pasted the eye in opening. I made a small and simple tool for the job.
  3. Despite my misgivings, the bridge was set almost immediately, but then ... I was horrified to find some damages... In this state, this was leaved until the next morning...
  4. Many thanks Lawrence and Michael for yours feedbacks and to all who have interest to this project! So, I continue my story. We had 4 days of holidays and days off, so I was able to devote quite a lot of times for work with this project. As you may recall, back mast was installed in its place, rigging taut, and after yet another validation of transactions, I just had to fix them with glue and trim the excess ends.
  5. Hey Patrick! Many thanks! I very appreciate your opinion, but I am sure that your skills allow you to do all this, too! Best Regards! Igor.
  6. Hi everyone! Many thank you for your words of support and all your LIKES! So, last evening I was going to fix the back of the mast and its standing rigging, and then install and fix running rigging... But it turned out that the guys on the one hand have been set incorrectly. I had to pull out the mast and do everything over again. Then I set the running rigging too. These temporary loops did their job
  7. Bob, I'm pretty sure many would have done it successfully Thank you, Mark! I think to look is always more frightening than doing
  8. Oh, thanks, Carl! This project is also another test of another manufacturing method of water from the two-component silicone. As you may remember for one of my current projects is very important to get a clear sea. It is very important to be able to see the underwater parts of the composition. Best Regards! Igor.
  9. Many thanks, Patrick! I think that all these actions were simple enough, as you can see in the photo. I'm a little disturbed by some of the forthcoming stages. Best Regards! Igor.
  10. Then I prepared the rear mast and set it in place. On this moment I decided to make a break in the work, because I needed more time to carefully check the rigging and then finally I will to fix the mast and its rigging.
  11. Now I was able to start assembling the model in a bottle. First, I installed and glued the engine room.
  12. Then I set the upper part of the body in its place, added a little glue and tightly pressed her to the bottom part of the hull.
  13. I also lifted up the boats and drawed rigging scheme I also made one additional tool to work with standing rigging
  14. As you remember, I set on the deck several lifting eyes for fixing the rigging. Lifting eyes have a hole diameter of 0.2-0.3 mm. Since I'm going to put the mast in the bottle separatly from the hull, it will be quite a difficult task to stretch the thread through the lifting eyes. So I decided to insert the temporary loops from threads into them.
  15. Another small but important detail - the name of the ship.
  16. Meanwhile, I continued the preparatory works. So, I added some quantity of the gel to increase the size of the waves. I also made this tool for drawing of foam
  17. Hi Carl and Patrick! Carl, I think you will not will want to play chess with me, because I am a bad player Many thanks, Patrick! Yes, I will remember
  18. Hi, Peter! Well done! Amazing work as always! Beat Regards! Igor.
