    After some experimenting with the Rit dye, my advice is to spend the five bucks and you will be assured of simplicity and won't regret it. I get line and rigging supplies from Syren and am happy with the overall quality.

    Congratulations on a masterpiece of a build. I can only imagine the skill level involved in a creation of this caliber. I'm starting the standing rigging on my Wasa. I'm interested in the case you chose for your Wasa. It is very sleek in design but understated as to not distract from the ship. My friend who I am making my Wasa for just loves the case. Can you give me any information about the case? The price and manufacturers of the case. I look forward to seeing your next build. Thanks and regards

    I have an assortment of tan colored rigging rope.I need some black rope. Would Rit fabric Dye be appropriate for this purpose?

    Thanks EJ_L for your entry regarding shrouds and standing rigging tension. I would not have considered this concept. It is timely because i am almost ready to begin my shrouds and standing rigging on my Wasa build. I value the more seasoned artists advise as i am not as adept as many of the contributors to the Forum. This Forum has helped me to be a better modeler. Hats off to all of you.

    Thank you for your reply BV. I'm finishing up the hill details now. I will post photos when the hull is done. My work pales when compared to the expert artistry of the contibiters to the forum, but I enjoy the time I spend building model ships.

    I'm building the Wasa by Corel 1/75.im planning to use black lines for the standing rigging.Does anyone know what guage lines to use that would be in scale?

    Thanks for the tip. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I have been following you and other Wasa by Corel builds for years now. I'm amazed by the craftsmanship and artistry. When I am stumped on my Wasa build I can usually find a solution for the ship. Thank you all for the contributions to the realm of ship modeling. As for me, I will probably submit photos of my Wasa when it is finished.

    Greetings all, I have been building the Wasa by Corel for about three years now. I'm now fitting the decoration metal castings.Does anyone know how to separate the cast figures from the sprues? I've tried everything to no avail. The metal under the brass plating is some hard stuff. I'm thankful to have the NRG website to consult. Years back to get any info on Model ship stuff you had to go to the library. Having the NRG site is like having an panel of experts in your room. Kudos to NRG and the experts on it.
