    Your Victory is simply amazing, and if I may add, quite intimidating to a veteran model builder like me. But nonetheless, I’m resuming my work on the model, thus inspired! Three questions at this stage: 1. How did you create the entry port? I’m talking to my son in law who has a 3-D printer to see if he can replicate. 2. Where can I find the copper Plating you used? I order some BlueJacket and Model Expo but am not satisfied with scale and lack of self-adhesive. 3. where did you get the hardware for the cannons and did you use the plastic cannons in the kit- doesn’t look like it. I’m working to connect the rudder to the steering wheels- so far so good. Pictures to follow...Chuck

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
