    Hello Mick,
that's excactly the configuratuin as per the AotS. The eyebolt (marked with B in your instructions) at the cathead side goes right trough and serves the pulleys as the axle.
The part without pulley is called thumb cleat and is supposed to guide the rope securing the anchor.

You did a great Job on painting the hulls, clean and even  lines!

    Hello Mick,
the CC drawings are showing four holes only. Attached the drawings from my AotS book, actually the Slots are the cat head sheaves. the pulley diameter, measured on the drawing (scale 3/8in = 1ft) is 8mm, width of the Slot 10mm. I don't have no idea how to convert this scale into something metric.
I have noticed your instructions asking to install a pulley (155) on the thumb cleat. This is not shown in my book.

have a look, if you need more Information just let me know!

    Hi Nenad,
think twice about your decision to start again. Dumping a model means to dump all the efforts and hours spend on it, I do know from experience that mostly always something can be done to prevent the final step.

    Hello Mick,
masking tape looks good, it denotes a clean line.
In order to prevent paint spreading under the tape, creating distortion, I'am using some flat mat varnish. Just brush it along the edges of the tape to seal it.

Next Planks are prepared, I pull them trough the thickness sander in order to have a equal thickness of the Planks followed by watering and prebending.

Yes Nigel, the dividing table fits perfectly in either direction as well as vertically or horizontally into the table slots. Additionally I'am using a homemade jig to sand or profile  the stripwood.

    Hi Nigel,
I'am using my MF70 for several applications and I'am always very happy with the results and handling. Even though I have a bigger drill and milling machine mostly the smaller Proxxon fits better for the Job. I would say the Proxxon is the right choice for what we are using it for.

Yesterday I have been informed by Lumberyard that it takes at least another two weeks to get my timber set on the road.
As I have decided to wait on the Hahn plans to continue with the ship boat I give a shot on the four 4 Pounder cannons.
I have started to shape a pearwood block to the outside dimension in oerder to receive the carriage brackets.
On the milling machine first thing was the axle receptions followed by the final shaping.
Cutting to the required thickness worked very well on the table saw. So far I'am pretty happy with the result (except for the quality of the photos). Well,I guess there is some room for improvement.

    Dear Fellows,
after following this great community for many years I would like to start my first buildlog now. After reading plenty of books and other different buildlogs I have decided to start my first scratch build on the Bounty. I have just ordered (and can't wait to receive it) the Lumberyard cherry timber set to start with. I like the Harold Hahn method as it seems not to be that difficult as other builds I have seen.
Anyway, your comments are highly appreciated.
