Thanks Kevin! I follow your work very closely and try to get inspiration! It's a new type of construction for me, which I had never approached and I try to do the best I can. The hinges are indeed a bit out of scale but functional; the alternative was to make them fake.

I bent two thin sheets of copper on itself around a 0.4mm brass wire; then I ground off the excess to form the joint. Finally, I strung the 0.4 mm wire to form the hinge.
