  1. Evening all, I altered a few things on my 4th Cuirassier Bugler then put him a way in my box, then I moved back onto my 54/55th Ligne figures. OC.
  2. Have you got some skin wash - I use this one just brush it over face and hands - OC.
  3. Craig if it was me I would flat it down a bit - just to take a wee bit of the shine out of it. OC.
  4. This kit looks like a good one aswel Craig - OC. https://www.scalemodelshop.co.uk/amusing-hobby-1-35-t-72av-with-full-interior-p18966/
  5. Just cross checked my 4th Cuirassier Bugler and I need to alter a couple of things - his helmet plume needs to be White not Black, and the cord wrapped around the Bugle needs to be Green, will alter them latter today. OC.
  6. Foregot to metion - his bugle - I drilled and tapered the end out of that as it was solid, and the Yellow bands on his arms have tiny Green dots I painted on. OC.
  7. Evening all, finished my 4th Cuirassier Bugler - he is glued to the horse aswell - so he's finished. OC.
  8. Evening all, some good progress to day - I have been working on my 1st Cuirassiers inproving their details as they were missing a few bits, I also did some tidy up work on them, as they were one of the first Cavelry I had done and they were a bit rougth, one of them also needed the White colour changing for a Black as the First troup only rode on Blacks and Bays for the Cavalry. I have also done some dirty/dusty work to the 4th Bugler around his socks - he is just waiting on the Buglar figure to be painted. OC.
  9. Evening all, I decided to add a few more thin white layers over the horses body, as going by description for the Cuirassier horses - the Cavalry rode Blacks or Bays and the Bugler rode on Greys (basically Whites but named Grays) these were Boulonnais horses - big strong horses. OC.
  10. If any of you guys are crossing the pond or even coming over to the Uk - I deffo suggest a day at the Tank Museum its that good, Superb exhibits a fantastic shop (where you can stock up on your tank models) and a good rest/food area with rest rooms. OC.
  11. Thank you kindly Ken, I was tempted to make it a mottled Grey - but didn't want to mess it up. OC.
  12. Thank you sincerly, Lots of reading about Waterloo and the seperate units taking part - I have tried to time my dio that fits in with a period in time where all I am showing would have been around/in the farm complex. OC.
  13. Evening all, I decided to re paint and re build a 2nd Cuirassier Trumpeter, the horse was Black but it needed to be a Grey - so after a few different Greay washes then some dry brushing White and White tail and main then a dark wash. The figure is just dry fitted to get an idea of how he will look. OC.
