  1. I have also made up some more sculpts including another shot Frenchman who has fell on his knee's, and Three other 54th/55th Ligne regiment - still some more to go. OC.
  2. Evening all, some more work done this evening - I dry brushed the Hussar horses legs and put them a side, I have also been working on my 2nd KGL second in command under Major Baring, he is also mounted on a horse, same level of detail as the Captains with some Silver detail on his tunic and a Red waist band sash, he is just placed on the horse not glued down. OC.
  3. Thank you kindly Alan, I have a Flat coat to be airbrushed over them yet - that will flat all the sheen, but I may do some subtle cloth polishing of the horses fur after to get a very subtle sheen almost like a mat/satin sheen. Or I could get a small bottle of Vallejo Acrylic Satin Varnish and just hand paint over the horses hair/main/tail. OC.
  4. Evening all, Two 10th Hussars completed out of Three, they just need some dry brushing then put a way in the stash awaiting flat top coating. OC.
  5. Thank you kindly Mark, the 10th Hussars was the Prince of Wales's Own Royal Hussars, so that may have had an influence over their uniform colour. OC.
  6. Thank you so much Ken, its delicate work - needs a steady hand, thats why it can't be rushed. OC.
  7. Evening all, more progress on the Hussars - I touched up the horses giving them some red detail and the rolls on the back where changed to Blue. I then started paintong the hussar figures - with the Shako's that received their Red/White and Yellow details, then I blocked in the jacket's with Blue and picked out the Yellow details - quite a lot of detail in these. OC.
  8. Evening all, more work on the 10th Hussars horses - I painted the reins and straps and painted the rest of the details - then a quick dirty wash over the Three of them, they still need some dry dust brushing then in then their riders need painting. OC.
  9. Really nice proress mate - that paint finish looks top notch. OC.
  10. Evening all, busy few hours on the bench - I made up Three better horses in better galloping poses, I then made up a few different base coat fur colours, I also made up another British Hussar, then primed and added his skin base colour, I then placed the Five mounted riders together. OC.
  11. Great work mate - same situation as I was in with my Chally TES build. OC.
  12. Evening all, another figure completed in the shape of a injured 54th Ligne Sapper - he had was going to attack the gates when he was shot, its gone in my "to be flat coated group". OC.
  13. Next I decided to have a look through my stash to see what else I could add/build - I decided to make a French Cuirassier Bugler, and a 2nd KGL mounted Captain that was positioned in the LHS to support Major Baring, I also made up Two additional horses for them. OC.
