I've been looking for a quality lighted magnifier and I'm coming up with nothing below $120. Has anyone found a lighted magnifier that he/she is happy with? I'd prefer one that sits on a table not clamped to the table.

Thanks,

Have you checked out places like Office Depot or Staples?   That's where I found mine.  As I recall it was fairly inexpensive.

Amazon has some good ones for less.  Depends on how big you want the magnifier to be.  I bought one several years ago that has a 2x lens about 3" across and a 60w light.  I think I paid about $30 for it.

My advice and comments are always worth what you paid for them.

Thank you, GRSJAX. I bought one from Micro. I couldn't find one that didn't have some quality issues per the reviews. If it doesn't work out, I think I'll buy one without illumination and a good lamp. That would be easier to find.
