If after thatt they still wonr bend it means you have to let them soak more. Ihad a kit once with such hard wood that I soaked ithe planks all night long

The wife went to a bridal show so I had some extra build time.Planked up the hull but ran out of the basswood I bought on Friday (15 planks were not enough)So I had to use some left over mahogany. It is ok because I intend to either paint the bottom white or copper it.I have to fill some of the large cracks with wood strips and use filler on the rest.

Hi deckape

I got the same kit with you. The dvd has exellent pictures and instructions. Nothing can go wrong. You still can print them. And there are also a pieces list and  videos. The videos in the dvd are very good in describing very well a lot of construction procedures.

Dont be afraid of it. Am sure you'll enjoy it as I do this moment.

All the best and lots of fan

Stupid question, and I hope there is an answer.

But sending a DVD instead of plans, how do you get a correct measurement when needed?
