Planking done by coat of wood glue on oak strips and on the hull, let dry completely and then use a small heat iron to install the oak strips, works, great!

You can add some food color dye to se the areas that you have covered with glue

You have an instant bond. We used this method sheeting our R/C aircraft

Impressive work! - especially your method of applying second planking,  the sharpness of the paint finish and the quality of the copper plating. You're a couple of pages of the instruction manual ahead of me. I shall be following your progress with considerable interest.

Note the left and right side bow wreaths are upside down

I like this this way due to the loops are backwards from Caldercraft 

note size diff to real Victory on the loops
