Has anyone ever built a GPM model?

If so, are they good kits?

1:64 Cat Esther (17th Century Dutch Merchant Ships)

On the building slip: 1:72 French Ironclad Magenta (original shipyard plans)

On hold: 1:98 Mantua HMS Victory (kit bash), 1:96 Shipyard HMS Mercury

I have. They are excellent models although sometimes with poor instructions. But parts fit nice and the results are outstanding.  Sometimes I prefer simpler models like SCHREIBER a German brand that has been publishing card models since 1831!! . One issue I don't like from some printers like JSC or WHM is that their models are waterline. No full hull and I consider this an inconvenience unless you are doing a diorama.  If you want more information, write me to edubarca1946@gmail.com.

I believe you will find that GPM features and quality can vary from one kit to another depending on who designed the model. A good idea is to google search the particular kit you are interested in and browse some of the images that turn up in the various card forums, especially in Poland and Germany.
