I am new to model ship building. I purchased a kit from OcCre. The planking comes in two sizes and I can't distinguish which is for the deck and which is for the hull. Does the thin planking go on the deck? I mean the unfinished planking. Obviously the finished planking is for the hull.

According to this review:

The thinner (0.6mm) lighter colored wood (Ramin) is for the deck and the thicker (2mm) Ramin is for the first hull planking. You can probably verify this in some build logs on the site but it matches up with what I would expect.

Welcome to MSW :piratebo5:. I recommend you go ahead and start a build log. Thats a great way to ask questions and get answers from others that are building the Terror.
