Hello from North Carolina

I have been building ships off an on for the last three years in between other projects.  I usually build larger scale airplanes, tanks and racing vehicles (mainly F1 and Porsche).  All of my wooden ships have been the D'Agostini kits (Victory, Vasa, and currently the Constitution).  I figured it was time to venture into getting a few kits to build.  As soon as I get back to the Constitution build I will post a build along.

Welcome! I’m looking to seeing your Constitution build.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore is a habit, not an act.

I could carry, paddle, walk and sing with any man I ever saw. I have been twenty-four years a canoe man, and forty-one years in service; no portage was ever too long for me, fifty songs could I sing. I have saved the lives of ten voyageurs, have had twelve wives and six running dogs. I spent all of my money in pleasure. Were I young again, I would spend my life the same way over. There is no life so happy as a voyageur's life!

Hi, Nic and welcome.

Even if you haven't yet got back to working on it, you might like to start a build log anyway, with "retrospective" photos of your Constitution so far.

Always nice to see pics of people's work.
