Around the bottom where the walls meet the deck I put a small strip to act as skirting, and hide the gap. It worked out well.

For the rest of the first areas on the deck so far taken off, the doors of the rear I found not so nice and have made other.
At the front part a finishing lath is placed to hide. The chinks

Hi Robert,

Very, very nice.

The doors are just looking excellent !

What are you using for the glazing? ( windows )

animaatjes-sjors-94584.gif

the door glass is plastic, and have the lines cut with a knife.
the lines painted black, and clean the plastic with water.

The past week the 2nd deck planking lists put around it, it's just a shame you can not see 80% of the deck later :( :(

Hi Robert, you have done a very good job on those decks. they look very good. Have you considered installing some form of lighting to perhaps allow the to be seen?

Best wishes

I never bothered with planking the deck that you will never see. Saved a lot of wood in the process and you never know because you can't see it.

I found it easier to shut down a whole deck I find that little extra wood not so bad. ^_^

Had been a while but here again a few pictures of the progress.

In this deck the veneer applied to the wall and the recesses for the windows made smaller because the windows are much smaller than the recesses.

Just an experiment done with some paint and a window in color.

I like the color of the glass,it is not bad and I think I'm about to leave it.
