CapnJack43 Posted June 22 Author #37 Posted June 22 Didn't like the bread and butter longboat that came with the kit so I decided to order a longboat from model expo. Kit came in a plastic bag with no photo and a single sheet of printed instructions and the photos on the sheet were so dark that I could not figure out what they were trying to show. Chain did not come with the kit - bought some chain in Walmart and secured to the hull with pins. JacquesCousteau and Dave_E 2 Quote

CapnJack43 Posted July 3 Author #41 Posted July 3 Bow rails are completed thanks to Kenneth Powell for the great photos in his build log. Made the grating out of 1/32x1/32nd strip wood. Using my home made jig for attaching the rails to the bow makes up for my shaky hands. Quote
