Does anyone know what cm stands for in the Mamoli instruction material key? Thanks in advance.

I don't have here a sheet of Mamoli ships but usually if related to lenght, cm is a fraction of meter in terms of lenght. 100 cm=1 m = 1000 mm

the cm are used often in Italy, but internationally not.

Internationally are more often used mm and meters.

I looked at several instructions for Mamoli kits and while they all had the CM descriptor only one (instructions for the Sâo Miguel ART. MV21) had a label for CM and that label was in Polish only (it was removed from the English translation portion of the instructions). It stated: CM – sklejka 1,5 mm which using Google translate, appears to translate as plywood. That translation makes sense for, at least some of, the parts that I saw labeled as CM.

if cm is in capital letters (CM), is right.

The old sheets of Mamoli kits present some tricky abbreviations for materials.

They made acronyms using Italians words, and sometimes not related in anycase to Italian words.

So the best way is to check the drawings and see which material can be related and use it for all the matching acronyms.

Some example:

NO= Noce (walnut)

CO=Corda (rope)

MET= metallo (metal)

OTN=ottone (brass)

and so on.

Looking at an older kit of Mamoli's Gretel, CM stands for Mahogany Plywood.
