I started to plank the sides got four rows on each side done. I needed to take a break after because the fumes we’re getting to me. Mike Collier Posted Wednesday at 03:52 PM Author Share #10 Posted Wednesday at 03:52 PM I messed up on my canoe, the instructions said to soak the ribs in 50/50 solution of water and ammonia. I let them soak for 3 hours and then I started to glue them in, the ca glue turned white and dried hard. I’ll have to removed clean them and reglue , I should’ve rinse them off before I glued them in. After getting the first frame in place, I just placed the spacer to make sure each subsequent frame was even.
