MARMARA TRADE BOAT

Ran across this kit on eBay.  Interesting Turkish trading vessel that isn't something you see everyday in a kit.  From a Russian seller called Speedekin.  The pictures of the kit look good but the instructions look like they are in Chinese (I think that is what it is).  Anyone ever seen this kit in the flesh?  Is it one of the proscribed kits?

My advice and comments are always worth what you paid for them.

No good news. I'm afraid.  It's a Shi-Cheng kit and they are banished.   I read a couple of build logs (Russian) and they had issues with completeness and quality.

This has the look and feel of a copy-cat.  There are a couple of Russian outfits that are producing interesting original subjects -- this looks like it might be a rip-off of one of them?

I think it's a rip-off from a Turkish company.  I found it following a bunch of links but I can't seem to get back to it... <sigh>

Hi

Is there a list or links to companies in Turkey and/or Russia?  Seems like they would have some interesting subjects you wouldn't find here.  Found one on the internet, Turk Model, but they had a limited range of models and I couldn't find any US dealers.

My advice and comments are always worth what you paid for them.
