  1. I find that when you strip any wood but especially mahogany into small Long strips it tends to warp If i do not stick it right away. If it was quarter sawn wood this would not happen. The bullet is heavy, shot from WW1, but it works well. i have never weighed it. The two wooden side moldings were just put there for the photograph. I will make them up this morning and silicone them in over the next few days. To make sure i have straight ones i will make at least eight.
  2. Working on the corrected model now. Its a pain, but you have to correct errors if the model you are building is portraying a historically accurate boat or ship.
  3. Hi Jay Where are you going to display the Columbia. Naparima is the largest model i made which has resulted in domestic issues. We get a few cruise ships in Tobago so you never know, if you are ever coming my way let me know and ill fly over and meet you.
  4. The case in which we place our models is as important as jewelry and lipstick on a lady. It showcases the beauty that is inside.
