Also, good job on the stern! I'm sure a strong foundation for the decorations will be useful. What kind of glue are you using? I recently read on another persons build log that the Elmers Wood Glue melts when in contact with water. He was soaking his boat to remove dents from his clamps, when he saw that the planks were coming off! I have been using the same glue on my covered wagon and don't think it matters much, but when I start building boats I wouldn't want that to happen. Just as a warning, be careful what glues you buy! He learned that the hard way.

Hello. I have some stubborn strips of sapelia from an old Artesania Latina kit. The strips are twisted and don't want to bend back into place. I am wondering if using an electric plank bender to fix this would work? If not, are there any other or better ways to do this?
